China's biggest indie label Modern Skythrows one of Shanghai's biggest music festivals in the lush Expo Park. Headliners this year are The Prodigy, Modestep, and Disclosure. Other acts include a big sampling of the Modern Sky roster and some familiar Shanghai DJs and bands. Music at Strawberry is on the trendier side, in the vein of dance rock, electro rock, indie pop, modern rock, and pop punk. Expect huge crowds of the young and eclectic afternoons out in the sun.
