Adele's 'When We Were Young' Tops Dance Club Songs Chart
Like prior smash "Hello," the song goes from ballad to remixed & club-ready.

Adele ascends to the top of Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart (dated March 26) for the second time, as "When We Were Young" rises 2-1. Originally a ballad from her monster album 25, the song reigns thanks to club remixes from Strobe, Discotech and Joe Gauthreaux, among others.

The singer scored her first Dance Club Songs leader three months ago, when a similarly remixed "Hello" hit No. 1 (on the Dec. 26, 2015 chart). Previously, Adele reached a high of No. 10 in 2013 with the James Bond theme "Skyfall" and scaled the tally with three other tracks. "Hello" also topped Dance/Mix Show Airplay for three weeks in December, likewise marking her first leader on the survey (after three prior top fives).

"Young" rose to No. 13 on the all-format Radio Songs chart and No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100. It has scored solid support at adult radio, climbing to No. 3 on Adult Pop Songs and No. 7 on Adult Contemporary.
25 has totaled 10 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and has spent all 16 of its weeks on the chart in the top three. It has sold 8.4 million copies in the U.S. to date, according to Nielsen Music.
