This year The Anglophile Channel announced the launch of two special awards: The first annual Alan Rickman Icon Award which will honor the memory and work of the late British actor known for his roles in Harry Potter, Love Actually, and Die Hard. Boland commented, “Rickman has been a longtime favorite at TAC. We were all so incredibly sad to hear of his passing. We could think of no better way to honor the memory of the man and his work, than with the Alan Rickman Icon Award.”

The Anglophile Channel is also proud to announce the creation of the Alan Rickman Icon Award, which will not only be presented posthumously to Alan Rickman, but also to our very first honoree, whose name will be revealed in the coming months! We could find no better way to honor an actor who we’ve admired so very much and was taken from us much too soon.

今年，the anglophile channel宣布了两个特别奖项的启动。首届为纪念艾伦里克曼（honor the memory）和这位已故英国演员所塑造的家喻户晓的哈利波特，真爱至上，虎胆龙威中的角色的年度 Alan Rickman Icon Award 奖在今年设立了。
Boland 评论说：“Rickman 是 TAC 很长时间以来的最爱。听到他去世的消息，我们都陷入了难以置信的悲痛之中。”我们想已经没有更好的方式让我们铭记这位演员和他的工作方式所带给我们的东西，除非设立Alan Rickman Icon Award 这样一个奖项。
The Anglophile Channel 同时也自豪的宣布 AR 为这个奖项的首个得主。这不仅仅是简单的颁奖给已故的Alan Rickman 同时也是为了表达我们最崇高的敬意。他的名字会在接下来的数月中展示出来。这是我们所能想到的最好的方式，去纪念这位我们怀有无限敬意与爱戴的演员。
