It is difficult to put into words what happened this weekend at MAGFest. The world premiere of Journey LIVE was life-changing. The incredible musicianship of the Fifth House Ensemble was on clear display, and we had tremendous Journey players, but what really left me breathless was the response from the audience.
Given how enormous MAGFest is, I was thinking maybe 400 or 500 people would show up. Well, instead over 2,000 came, and they were exploding with enthusiasm. There was so much love in the room.
I can honestly say I've never experienced anything like it. A high like none other. I will be forever grateful to everyone involved, including everyone in the audience.
Journey has become this companion in my life, one I'll cherish forever. My endless thanks to thatgamecompany for this magical creation that has brought so much love into my life. From starting work on it exactly 7 years ago, to its release 4 years ago, to performing it live 2 days ago, it's all just simply surreal.
