Minecraft an－hour －code make perfect sense together. Getting people into coding through games they already love. And it’s a great example of our partnership with microsoft. And how we’ve been able to take Minecraft into an new exciting system with them.
Giving a chance to contribute to a million of kids first introduction into computer science ,we are doing with minecraft, let’s say, it’s a very very rewarding experience,a _____experience.
one of things is really appealing about the hour of code is being able to say, no, this is a great sand-box, come and tinkering this place, you can learn the basic concepts , the same concepts we use to make___games right here and just an hour.___knowing that tens million of kids almost like going to play the hour code sometimes in december,that’s why we made games, every body will remember his first day in minecraft and the first night in minecraft,that’s what we want to represent. The tutorials, like the step by step starts, if you would start the normal minecraft until you build your house, you go underground, you mine,you build your ware wheel track before you know you are an expert. one of our challenge to build the code is that minecraft is a 3d game, we want to make sure the hazzads, the look, that was true to mine craft is to make blocks in a world 3 dimensional,so we need to redesign it, we need to find a way to represent, ,what everybody love about minecraft is the basic essence of minecraft. so we take a long look at, like, what would minecraft looks like if it’s a board game, what would minecraft looks like if it was a _____game, what if it was like a 90 adventure game,we did a lot of counsel about,like how we feel that minecraft could be represented in the blossom way that everydy goes:” of course it’s minecraft”.h,one of the exciting things to see is when kid sit down to play it, they see the i resettled intructions they are writing, take the fact if they hit the “run” button, _____ they get right or wrong, it’s just this, light up a moment of ,wow it’s just did what i told him to do ,in the fact the computer is kinda like this quite companion, not judge,it’s not telling you ‘hey you did it wrong, it makes it so easy,to go back. you just wanna try again. let me try again. let’s see what happens if i do this.
it’s a great opportunity to tinker and explore,which we don’t alway get in normal education. In minecraft education,if you do a job right, we just feel like minecraft hat happens to support learning. It’s fantastic when you can have kids get first introduction of coding using something as open-ended and powerful as minecraft and hopefully that the way how we get next ______
