While it doesn't seem that the film will still meet it's current October 2016 release date, we do now know when production on the Doug Liman directed Gambit film will start. It's been revealed that X-Men spin-off film, which will star Channing Tatum, will start filming in New Orleans this March. The film was originally set to begin production in November but had to hit the brakes when directed Rupert Wyatt exited the project.
There's no word currently about a new release date. It also appears that Tatum is already gearing up for the role and growing his hair out, which was seen at last night's Golden Globes. Let us know your thoughts on Gambit in the comments section below.
