Mark Ronson, Adele Lead Australia's 2015 Year-End Charts
Mark Ronson’s blockbuster retro hit "Uptown Funk" (Columbia/Sony) and the force of nature that is Adele’s 25 (XL/Remote Control) and were the runaway best-sellers in Australia last year, according to trade figures published by ARIA.

Adele’s third set is No. 1 on the ARIA 2015 End Of Year Albums Chart, published Thursday (Jan. 6), having notched seven-times platinum sales (410,000 units) in just six weeks. The album, which has already been declared the biggest-seller for the year in the U.S. and U.K, hasn’t left the top spot on Australia’s weekly albums chart since its release Nov. 20.
The British singer songwriter’s success Down Under runs deep. "Hello," the lead single from 25, finished the year as the fifth-best selling single and her sophomore album, 21, came in at No. 32 on the 2015 best-seller’s list.
