Finnish Music fans have an opportunity towitness a unique concert when Queen - one of the greatest rock bands of alltime -arrives in Finland after a 40 year gap. Queen in its present line upfeaturing Adam Lambert are playing in Helsinki Kaissaniemi Park on Friday 3June. At the same time the concert is the opening of new and modern CityFestival Park Live and the line up of the Festival will expand during the nextcouple of months.

Queen has played in Finland only oncebefore - at the House of Culture November 1974. Guitar player Brian May anddrummer Roger Taylor are still present from that original line up. Since 2009Adam Lambert has stepped into the role of lead vocalist after the passing ofFreddie Mercury in 1991. Since 2009 Queen and Adam Lambert have performed atlive concerts and television spectacles. Last year the band did a highlyacclaimed and sold out 24 day tour of America. This year Queen and Adam Lamberthad performed at 26 sold out concerts all over Europe and rest of the world.Based on praising reviews Adam Lambert has proved a perfect fit to assume thisdemanding role of band front man.
