BREAKING NEWS: Jamie Lynn Spears Gives Birth Thursday June 19, 2008 Jamie Lynn Spears has given birth, a source tells Usmagazine.com.Daughter Maddie was born Thursday at Mississippi Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb, Mississippi.Maddie weighed 7 lbs., 11 ounces.This is the first child for 17-year-old actress and her 19-year-old fiance Casey Aldridge, a pipe layer.(Check out pics of Jamie Lynn's baby bump.)On Wednesday, sister Britney and dad Jamie flew from L.A. to their hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana as Jamie Lynn prepared to give birth.(See photos of the famous siblings.)The Zoey 101 star – who announced she was expecting at 16-years-old with Aldridge's baby in December (they sold the story for $1 million) – spent her pregnancy in Kentwood and McComb."She's now really excited, so I'm proud of her," pal Miley Cyrus has told Usmagazine.com.Before her pregnancy, Jamie Lynn told Us of having kids, "Whatever happens, happens, I guess. You can't really say what is going to happen."
