X Factor viewers may be left disappointed after finding an early favourite has quit theshow. Joe Waller decided that being on the programme wasn't the best move for his career and has dropped out.
Despite impressing judges Simon Cowell, Nick Grimshaw, Rita Ora and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini with his own song, we won't be seeing any more of the curly haired primary school teacher. According to The Mirror, he revealed the news on social media saying: "So mid week I received a completely random email from the X Factor Team. "Although I made the choice to not continue in the programme because I felt it was the best thing for my career at the time, they have decided to air my audition. "SO I PROMISE I DIDN'T LIE ABOUT ANYTHING... But they have chosen to air my audition even though I chose to leave." He added: "The only worrying thing is TV editors have the ability to mould a number of shots into any story and although I was true to myself and to both of my professions it still is a worrying concept. Joe performed his the original track Stay during his audition. Rita was exceptionally impressed and even made a few attempts to flirt with him. She said "Thank you for making my eyes light up" causing Simon to roll his eyes
