If i were Chinese here are my reasons for enlistingin the PLA:
- i am stupid.
- i am unemployed.
- i am uneducated.
- i am starving.
- i am 18 and don't know any better.
- i am impressed by the recruiting video.
- i feel heroic and patriotic after seeingour ships and planes in the video and hearing the martial music.
- i am disobeying my mother who told me notto enlist.
- i come from a rural area.

说到民族主义，其实民族主义国家兴起也才几百年，可以说即便是在清朝末期民众对国家的认同感还是停留在“皇帝的国家”这个概念，现在中国人的思想变化的还是蛮快的，都快成极端民族主义了，总是自骨子里认为中国人天生就比其他民族优越。其实吧，历史代表过去，我个人更喜欢站在当代认识世界。
