虽然索尼的加菲蜘蛛侠最终被砍收场，但加菲依然很期待新任蜘蛛侠荷兰弟弟的表现。
「很可爱，汤姆赫兰德是一位非常出色的演员。特别在《海啸奇迹》的演出里，他完全表现出有力量而灵敏的演技，一位很棒的演员。」
加菲同时表示很开心能够再次成为蜘蛛侠的粉丝，更加无需再承受演出这位超人气角色的压力。
「相比起承受担当蜘蛛侠的压力，我更享受作为粉丝的乐趣。」他说道。
Andrew Garfield Weighs In On Tom Holland As Spider-Man

Andrew Garfield’s term as Peter Parker in the Amazing Spider-Man franchise was cut short due to the deal struck by Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures to share the characters across films, but the actor isn’t bitter. In fact, he’s looking forward to seeing what the next Spider-Man, Tom Holland, brings to the role.
"It feels lovely, especially because Tom Holland is a really, really great actor," Garfield told ET. "He was in this movie The Impossible and he was just this incredibly powerful, sensitive, just wonderful young actor."
Garfield also admits that it feels good to be a fan again, rather than carrying the weight of such a popular character.
"I’m just really excited to just be a fan again as opposed to bearing the weight of it," Garfield said.
