Avril Lavigne, Ashley Tisdale and Chinese pop star G.E.M. have been tapped to play Snow White, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, respectively, in 3QU Media’s animated musical comedy Charming, the first pic from the company headed by Shrek producer John H. Williams and Henry Skelsey.
Demi Lovato is already aboard playing female lead Lenore and overseeing the music score and production is underway at Cinesite’s new animation studio in Montreal. The hunt for the role of Prince Charming is ongoing.
Ross Venokur wrote and produced the pic, which follows what happens after the princesses discover they are all engaged to the same prince.
