刚刚首播完毕。
在遥远的银河系深处，Qresh星球上的人们在三颗卫星上进行殖民，建立起四个分层的世界（主行星和三颗卫星各为一层）。每一个世界都有独特的社会经济结构，但每一个世界都动荡不安，一场阶级战争随时可能爆发。在被称作Quad的这个行星体中，赏金猎人获得政府许可在整个银河系范围内完成各种各样的委托命令，他们被称作「扫兴者」（Killjoys）。「扫兴者」必须严格服从既定的规矩，并且他们一旦接到命令就不能反悔，如果反悔必然带来严重后果。

一篇影评
This is a fun little show. There’s banter, snark, and some kick ass fight scenes. That was the entire episode, with a couple super brief character moments and mysteries set up. We do get a good understanding of what it means to be a Killjoy, but that’s the only well developed part of the world.
Killjoys are bounty hunters who don’t belong to any government or governing body. They give up citizenship to be a Killjoy. It’s unclear what the government system in this world looks like. There’s definitely the company versus the resistance. Each Killjoy can be a different level which qualifies them to take on different levels of warrants.

Dutch and John are a well oiled machine, but we don’t really see them in action other than the opening, which is a shame. Instead, there’s more time spent with the two of them apart, and then D’avin entered the mix. Hopefully, there will be moments where Dutch and John are such a well oiled machine that either D’avin can’t keep up or just has to acclimate to their partnership.
Right now, the characters are mysteries, and it is hard to really feel like you know anything about them. The only real moment that was shared was how John and Dutch became partners. That’s one answer solved and there are so many more questions about who these people are. Why has it been so long since John and D’avin were together? Who is Dutch?

It’s hard to tell what the overarching storyline of the season will be. There was a mention of a resistance, so perhaps a civil war of some sort will break out. Then, there’s Dutch and her mysterious relationship with Khlyen (Roan from “Nikita”). He trained her to kill at a young age, and now it seems he wants to enlist her services again.
For a series premiere, there is enough to keep you interested in coming back for more. There’s a promise of fast paced action every week with some banter sprinkled in. Plus, it takes place in space. It’s hard to not get enjoy that aspect, and the ship, Lucy, makes a great impression. Will you be tuning back in?
