It's just another Man-ic Monday at Yahoo Style. Each week we'll showcase the latest, drive-us-crazy guys who have us going mad—manic, really—from film, music, and sports.
We've seen and heard of Jake Gyllenhaal a lot this past week— from the red carpet at Cannes to star-studded events surrounding the festival's many movie premieres to Tom Ford's announcement yesterday evening: that Jake Gyllenhaal will star in the designer's newest film, "Nocturnal Animals" (Focus Features is backing the $20 million film). This film will be a followup to Ford's critically acclaimed movie "A Single Man."
We don't blame director/designer for casting mega-hunk-Gyllenhaal as his leading man. Jake is genetically pefect: he has a contagious smile, killer physique (we recommend hitting up any of downtown Manhattan's 6am SoulCycle classes), and thick, shiny hair (which we prefer slicked back). Not to mention his undoubtedly laughable persona (remember those paparazzi photos of Jake playing with his food? Or that t-shirt he wore around NYC that said, "I Was a Gay Cowboy Before it was Cool"? So true, Jake... So true).
