About the same time in the year 2007,I met you on TV. At that time you were just an unknown snooker player with no fan at all. However, during only one year, you have achieved a lot in your career and made a big difference to the life of millions of people who care you so much. I write this passage just to remember this year---From the May of 2007 until the May of 2008. It’s a year in which a shimmery figure entered the sight of snooker fans all over the world, it’s a year in which I provide for you all my care, support and enthusiasm, most importantly, it’s a year saw your transformation. One year ago, your behavior in the semi-final game of 2007 World Championship impressed me deeply. If I was interested in watching snooker before I saw you, then I fell in love with it after that game. All you did was not just playing to win, but letting yourself in it. It seemed that your actions and expressions had showed all your thoughts, at those points of time, snooker is the only thing in your eyes. Now, one year has passed, I can still remember all the scenes of that day clearly. But during this year, to be honest, I hardly had chance to watch your game, but everytime I watch it, my heart is with you. You have made many mistakes and lost some games, but I never feel dispointed of you because I never saw you give up, so I am proud of you. World Championship is only a start, after that I was happy to see that you win the 3rd place of Shanghai Masters, UK Championship, Malta Cup, and China Open, 1st place of Wembley Masters and Welsh Open. Everyone has seen the great achievement you’ve got during this year. Now you stand on the same battlefield of World Championship as last year, but Mark is not the same Mark any more. Someone once asked me wether my fancy to you is the result of your attractive appearance, my answer is absolutely no. You do have handsome face and wonderful figure, but they are not the only things that attract me. I know what I see is only one side of you, I can only see the Mark that is playing snooker and at that time, I’m incapable of discribing my appreciation towards you, even all the words of praise is not enough. However, behind that shining Mark, here is a Mark who had experienced his tough children, who had suffered the great pains of failures, who had given up lots of happiness in order to succeed. God didn’t give me a chance to share all of these with you, but God did give me a chance to give respect to you, that’s enough. At last, I want to say, I’m very grateful that you have given me so much happiness during this year. And if it isn’t too much to ask of you, I would like you don’t give up, wait until the World Championship of 2009.
