Do you already know how to use sound slider of COP best? Here are three examples for EQ settings:
- Playing guitar in the studio or at home: Close the sound slider fully or open just one step – gives you a dry and direct sound with a good isolation of ambience noise
- Using the headphone for gaming: open the sound slider fully or at least 2 steps open to give you a big fat sound with roaring and punchy bass.
- Listening to rock music: set the sound slider only one step closed to give you enough pressure combined by a fat bass; this comes very close to the famous sound of DT 770 Pro.

News from drummer and friend of beyerdynamic Jost Nickel – he played the drums on one of the songs of Johannes Oerding’s CD "Alles Brennt" (in English: Everything Burns) which was recently released and went straight to #3 in the German Charts. The drums for the song “Turbulenzen” have been recorded in his own studio called “Shed Room” in Hamburg by Jost himself. So he was not only the drummer for this recording but also the sound engineer. Congratulations!
