When we talk about the concept that in your language or one of your earth languages is called the Tao or the Way; the principles in this concept are very similar, as many of you recognize, to many of the principles that we are talking about for understanding reality and how to live in the moment, in the center of your being, in present time; *staying* *in the present*. But when we talk about the Tao and that word is translated through the channel's brain to you, we wish to make it clear that we do not mean to emphasize the idea of any particular religion on your planet. We are not talking about Tao-ism.
But the Tao itself is simply one way to understand *the nature of* *existence* by whatever word you wish to call it, and there are, of course, many words to call it by. We are referring to it simply because that is one of the more convenient words that exists, that does most succinctly express the concept as similar to the way that we understand it in our civilization.
