After a disappointed loss to Dellacqua in the second round in Indian Wells, Nicole has a lot of work in Miami. As seeded #12 Nicole had a BYE in the first round. In the second round Nicole will face Russian qualifier Alisa Kleybanova tomorrow.

CURRENT FORMAlisa Kleybanova: Young Russian always has to fight for a main draw spot. She lost in the 1st round in Gold Coast, reached the 2nd round at the Australian Open. Her the best result this year is the quarterfinal in Antwerp where she lost to the world No. 1 Justine Henin. She didn't qualify in Dubai and Indian Wells. But she went through in Miami and defeated Olga Govortsova in three sets in the first round.
