The Daily Star Sunday exclusively revealed in August how troubled Tulisa could be set for a sensational comeback after building bridges with show boss Simon Cowell.
Fan favourite Cheryl has only signed to return for the current series and has so far refused to commit to next year.
Now Tulisa*s former partner-in-crime Louis has backed a possible panel swap saying: "I loved having Tulisa back for judges* houses.
"I loved having her back and I absolutely love her. I*m really good friends with her. I adore her.
"She*s a great judge, she*s a great mentor and she was really honest in Bermuda, she really was. She helped me pick my top three well."

When asked if he thought Tulisa would end up replacing Cheryl he said: "I honestly don*t know - it*s too early isn*t it? Let*s get through this year.
"But I do think she makes an excellent judge. She*s really honest, I think she*s a really good girl. I hope she does well.
"I rate her as a judge but I also rate her as a person and I rate her as an artist. She*s always very honest. A bit like Mel B - she says what she thinks."
The X Factor has so far failed to compete against Strictly in the annual ratings war.
Louis admitted that airing the show on a Friday night to head-to-head with the celebrity dance show had been a disaster.
But he backed the singing contest to beat their BBC rival by the end of the year.
Louis added: "I think Saturday and Sunday is enough. I really do. The X Factor isn*t Coronation Street. Even though it*s a bit of a soap opera sometimes it*s not Coronation Street and doesn*t need to be on three times a week.
"There*s a buzz on the show at the moment though and I do think we will beat Strictly in the end.
"I think it*s going to be the best series yet. It*s not going to be like last year or the year before. This is a different show. It*s better musically. Better tracks, better production, better styling, better talent, better everything."
