One of the many intriguing facets of Benedict Cumberbatch*s Sherlock Holmes is his apparent asexuality. While this is in-keeping with Arthur Conan Doyle*s original creation, Holmes*s lack of sexual experience is a talking point for modern audiences in a way it wasn*t back in Victorian England.
