Nicole Scherzinger Lines Up For *Cats* Musical

Nicole Scherzinger will take the stage in Andrew Lloyd Webber*s celebrated musical, "Cats," later this year.
Cast to play "Glamour Cat" Grizabella, the former Pussycat Dolls singer and personality will join the production when it returns to London*s Palladium for a twelve week run beginning December 6.
"I am really thrilled to be making my West End debut in such an iconic show and I couldn’t be more excited. To have the opportunity to work with Andrew, Trevor and Gillian is a dream come true," Scherzinger offered in a statement. "I grew up listening to Andrew’s extraordinary music and was lucky enough, a couple of years ago, to record Cats’ beautiful song *Memory.* Andrew’s score is breathtaking and I am truly honored to have been asked to take part in what I know will be a very special time in my career. I can’t wait to begin rehearsals."
Scherzinger is also set to release a new album this month. Titled "Big Fat Lie" the album is said to feature production from The Dream and Tricky Stewart.
