We got a chance to interview Jennifer Beals. As the next paragraph will suggest, this was probably the least jokey interview we’ve ever done. But she was also kind of great. We’re posting it here.
She stars in “Lauren” (written by Jay Rodan, directed by WIGS co-Creator Jon Avnet) that tells the story of military women Sergeant Lauren Weil, played by Troian Bellisario (Pretty Little Liars) and Major Jo Stone, played by Jennifer Beals (Flashdance, The L Word). Lauren seeks justice after being raped by fellow soldiers on the base camp and struggles to move on with her life. Jo Stone, in an attempt to help Lauren, is torn between the military code and personal beliefs. The show is on Hulu and Hulu Plus, and you should check it out.
