4. Adam Sandler
I speak especially from personal experience, having worked with him and his Happy Madison crew a lot. He is the most down to earth and laid back actor you*ll ever meet. The first day I met him, at the Sony Athletic Center, it was just he and I in the room.
He came right up, we started talking about working out, and when he found out I was from Wisconsin, we started talking about Chris Farley (He grew up in Madison, WI) and how much he misses the guy. We played basketball on the lot. I was covering him and blew my knee out. Not every day when a $20 million a picture actor helps you off of the court, fetches you water, and watches as medical examines you. He takes care of his Happy Madison
crew and he*s hilarious and soft spoken on set at the same time. Great guy.
5. Will Smith
Another actor I*ve had some experience with. His reputation is excellent. He*s a hard worker, much like Cruise, from development and beyond. He has a positive attitude that really carries over to the rest of the set. Best moment was seeing him walking down Main St. on the Sony lot. A whole group of young kids, there on a school trip or something, see him walking towards him. They all flip out in screams. Instead of retreating, like most would, he smiled big as they surrounded him, hugged him, joked around with them, etc.
6. Jennifer Lawrence
It goes without saying that Jennifer Lawrence is known for her humble attitude. She becomes very close with all that work with her, above and below the line. Her reputation these last few years has been nothing but positive within the film industry community.
7. Meryl Streep
For the most Oscar-nominated actor of all time, and also considering the fact that she takes on some pretty intense roles, she*s known as one of the nicest actors to work with.
8. Hugh Jackman
Jackman has created an excellent reputation within the film industry. There seems to be very little entitlement on his part, despite his now super-stardom. He*s one of the most multi-talented actors in the business and commands the big screen, small screen (as Tony and Oscar host), and the stage. And he still has remained grounded and easy to work with despite that power. Russell Crowe could have learned a thing or two from him had Jackman showcased this positive and easy-to-collaborate-with attitude during the time Crowe
commanded the screen in the late 90s and early 2000s.
