The X Factor: ITV announces a week of specials ahead of new series

ITV has announced a week of X Factor specials in the lead up to the new series*s launch.
Xtra Factor host Sarah-Jane Crawford will host five special programmes on ITV2, which will look back at previous series and forward to this year*s competition.
On Monday, August 25, Simon Cowell will reveal what he has in store for the show*s 11th series in The Boss Is Back. The special will chronicle Cowell*s return to the UK series after three years in the US.
On Tuesday, August 26, the focus will turn to returning judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini. Cheryl Looks Back will feature the singer discussing her return to The X Factor, as well as reminiscing on previous series.
Louis Walsh will reflect on his ten years on The X Factor*s panel in Louis Looks Back on Wednesday, August 26.
On Thursday (August 28), ITV2 will air The Wonderful World of The X Factor, which will feature contributions from Dermot O*Leary.
The X Factor: Your Top Ten will round off the week*s programming on Friday, August 29, as Crawford counts down the public*s favourite moments from the last ten series.
All shows will air at 8pm on ITV2.
