After three and a half years, the time has finally come for us to stop maintaining War Metal: Tyrant. That may come as little surprise given our poor communication and slow update cycle over the past several months. I apologize for the long “limbo” period we’ve been in this year. At this point, however, we simply don’t have the resources to continue support.
We’re aware that a small contingent of players is still actively and regularly playing, which is largely a testament to how awesome this community has been for fostering a fun environment and keeping people engaged even when the content updates became so infrequent. Because of this, we will keep our servers up for another year to allow players to continue enjoying WMT.
We want to do one final update. Currently, we’re planning on:
-A player-made set of cards, using community-designed stats and art from Tyrant Unleashed.
-A new tournament featuring the Community Pack.
-Two new Epic raids, one of which we’ll aim to make EXTREMELY difficult.
-A handful of bug fixes.
It really has been a lot of fun developing Tyrant with you guys. You are an awesome community. Feel free to ask any questions or make any requests for the upcoming update.
