Stuff body firmly without stretching the stitches apart, then sew opening closed through opposite chain front loops.（紧紧地填充身体部位，但不要拉伸针脚，把开口的圈对面对缝合，见下图）

LEGS x 4（腿X4）
Rnd 1: Ch 5, join to form ring, ch1, 9 sc in ring, join to beg ch1. (10短针)

Finish off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Stuff the legs firmly.

TAIL
Ch 13, ss in 2nd ch from hook and each ch along, finish off. Make a small tassel, using just two strands of yarn, and attach to end of tail. Sew onto elephant.
