Work on the next beta is going ahead at full speed with lots of progress made much quicker than I have anticipated. Unfortunately I still cannot give you guys an estimated release date but I can give you a glimpse of what's to come in the next update.
First of all, the major powers and first tier secondary powers will get their infra, manpower and leadership distributed to them. These countries are: United States, Canada, China, Brazil, Russia, India, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy and Japan.
I don't know if I will include any OOB's yet in this release but if I will be sure you will be notified about it, Right now however OOB's will probably not make it into the next beta. One thing that will be introduced in Beta 4 is the redesigned political screen which I will demonstrate with a small country we all know and love called Canada, The main changes are:

1. You now have a set of constitutional laws (marked in red) which you cannot change at any given time - these laws are what determines what kind of country you are leading and by changing them you can turn a dictatorship to a fledgling democracy or a fresh democratic state into a ruthless dictatorship.
How these constitutional laws are changed is yet to be determined but it will be hard to change them as the move from either government type is gradual and we obviously don't want countries to change from democracies to dictatorships on a daily basis.
2. There are now alongside the constitutional laws the domestic policies of your country, changing these will affect your constitutional laws so take note before you install those extra cameras in the capital city, it might just upset your people a bit too much.

Hey everyone,
Beta 4 will be a very juicy update for Modern Warfare both in terms of content and graphical overhaul to HOI3 which is already becoming old especially when you compare it to the new games released by Paradox.
One of the missions of this mod is to make the game more accessible and no doubt this can be achieved by making the game look more 'fresh' among its counterparts. You have already seen some of the graphical changes introduced in Beta 3 and the new political screen which will be introduced in Beta 4, now its time you see the new map.

Besides the visual changes the amount of provinces has been increased from the original 14,155 to well beyond 18,000 provinces. This obviously has its down sides and benefits. The benefits are that all countries now have a fair chance at growth - which means that countries like Australia and Canada as well as Brazil have no less provinces than the US and some even more.
Same goes for the African countries that were abandoned in the vanilla game and had a handful of provinces, this time around they will have a decent amount relative to their size. For example: Algeria and Sudan both have about 200 provinces. DR Congo has above 100 provinces, so assuming you can get the countries going they have a real shot at becoming at least secondary powers in their areas.

The downside is of course how well the game can handle all of these provinces, this will require some testing as well as input from players since my machine is old and is no benchmark for any game these days so I am hopeful the game will work smoothly for you... initial testing on stronger machines than mine have shown this shouldn't be an issue. My guess is that if your machine can run EU4 steady it should have no problem with the mod.

The war on terror began with the invasion of Afghanistan and continued until today. While the initial goal of the invasion was the capture of Osama Bin Laden the goal was later expanded to the establishment of a democratic state in Afghanistan with the removal of the Taliban regime. At the beginning of the game Afghanistan is divided between the Islamic state of Afghanistan (aka The Northern Alliance) and the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (The Taliban).

19.03.2003 - Invasion of Iraq
The invasion of Iraq began on the 19th of March with coalition forces bombing runs in Baghdad and later a ground assault. The Iraq war was initiated with a stern insistence by the US president George W Bush that Iraq had developed weapons of mass destruction and thus posed a threat to the world. Despite the evidence provided by the US many Nato countries did not rush to join this war due to some serious doubt regarding these allegations. After the conquest Iraq you will have the option to form a new democratic state in Iraq.
07.08.2008 - South Ossetia War
The South Ossetia War was an armed conflict in August 2008 between Georgia on one side, and Russia and the separatist South Ossetia and Abkhazia on the other. The fighting started after a shelling of Georgian villages by the South Ossetian sepratists. After a swift responce by the Georgian army Russia intervened to help its ally South Ossetia.

18.09.2010 - The Arab Spring
While the Arab Spring is not a military conflict this bookmark is meant to jump start the players to the events that led to the overthrow of leaders across the Arab countries and especially in Tunisia where the Arab spring began with the self-immolation of Mohamed Bouazizi. The events were followed by the mass demonstrations that led to the downfall of Husni Mubarak the Egyptian president and later Muammar Gaddafi in Libya.
15.03.2011 - Syrian Civil War
The Syrian civil war began with peaceful demonstrations following the revolutions in Tunisia and Egypt. The protesters were met with an aggressive response from the regime led by president Bashar Al Assad. The conflict rages on until today with a long stalemate between government forces and various rebel groups.
