Facing the tide of economic globalization, we are amenable to have a good grasp of English -- the international language. So we should analyze the cause of the poor English-learning students, and put forward the solution to help the students learn English efficiently. When considering the present situation of Chinese students learning English, I think that there exit both subjective and objective factors of affecting learning. In terms of subjective factors, it includes the ability of learning, learning method, learning interest, and learning attitude. In terms of objective factors, we should explore it form the field of learning environment and teachers' teaching methods. The current education system needs teachers to guide students to develop a good habit of self-learning and Scientific learning method. But in practical teaching, a variety of factors force students learn English in the wrong direction, which results in the appearance of poor English-learning students. In a word, this article provides some opinions on the reasons of the appearance of poor English-learning students and how to let them learn English well.
