Thank you for this..I cannot express how much this meant to him..and to me... he spent several months being seriously bullied by a teacher/caregiver and it really confused him..hard enough being bullied by kids..but by an adult. He didnt know how to react..he shut down..i just couldn't reach him... It was right after you were on Idol, home was on the radio all the time.. I laid in bed with him every night singing songs to him for comfort and that was one of them. He then asked me to only sing that one every single night we were serious when we said your music spoke to him...the line trouble it might drag you down if your lost you can always be found..one day he said..I like that part mom... well I immediately bought him your CD when it dropped he just loves it... I grew up with music always being a huge part in healing me speaking to me, gettin me thru hard times... The minute he told me he liked that part of the song..i realized..that this was doing that for him......thank you for your heartfelt music....you can your really feel your passion in it...and again..THIS....meant the WoRLD to one 7year old boy named Alex today.... ♡ ps..besides home..which he calls "our song"..get up get down is his fav...lol
