本人applied to MSE....admitted and received invitation to join the james scholar program....
但是非常不解的是，why does the us new report rank UIUC MSE as 2nd in US while UIUC overall ranking is 40+....
UIUC的engineering真的很厉害吗？what's pulling down its overall ranking then? thks loads:)

因为穷。。。要是有人捐几十亿美元，野鸡大学都能进TOP30。。。

同MSE, james scholar program....是什么？单独申请的？还是学校自动授予的？
