During the summer of 1992, Céline Dion did an American tour as the opening act for Michael Bolton. They kicked off the "Time, Love and Tenderness Tour" on July 13, 1992 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California. In the space of one month, they performed the show in twenty-thousand-seat-arenas.[2][3] Dion also joined Bolton for the song "Hold On, I'm Comin'." According to Celine, the opening for Michael Bolton was exhausting, particularly because she had to change cities every day. "But we were finally doing what we had always dreamed of doing: working in the country that created the big time", Celine has said. In the beginning, Celine performed for very restless, impatient audiences who were waiting to hear Michael Bolton and weren´t interested in her. "I had a defective sound system and very little space because the stage was taken up by the mixers and instruments for the main act." The concerts were held outdoors, and it was still daylight when Celine went onstage. Eventually Rene Angelil was able to convince the producers to begin the show a half hour later. By the end of the tour, Celine had good lighting and a better sound system.
Between August 1992 and March 1993 she toured Quebec, Canada. In August 1992, in front of more than 45,000 people, Dion took part in a historic concert at Le Parc des Iles onIle Ste-Hélène to celebrate the 350th anniversary of Montreal. She performed duets with Aaron Neville, Peabo Bryson and The Atlanta Super Choir in a concert that was later aired on the CBC's Les Beaux Dimanches.[4] On March 23, 1993 Dion began her English-language Canada leg of the tour, with five sold out concerts at the Montreal Forum. This last leg included 28 dates and 75,000 tickets. When they went on sale, the tickets were sold in 5 hours.
According to Le Soleil (November 17, 1993) Dion gave 17 concerts at Capitole Theatre, Quebec City since its opening in November 1992 with an average of 1,300 tickets sold per show. She was the most profitable act for the venue.
Dion typically performed 15 songs during her 90-minute shows. The set list included mainly songs from her latest English album Celine Dion, but also few from her previous albums (Unison and Dion chante Plamondon) and three covers: "Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word," "Can't Help Falling in Love" and "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman."[5]
Dion was supposed to sing in Campbellton and Caraquet in May 1993, but these concerts were cancelled because of death of her niece Karine. It was announced that they would be rescheduled later that summer. An additional 4 concerts which Dion had to postpone after Karine's death were performed in September 1993. During the September 7-8, 1993 concerts, Celine performed songs from her upcoming album "The Colour Of My Love". Singer Anthony Kavanagh did the opening act at Celine´s shows in Quebec, Canada. In the rest of the country, Lennie Gallant did some opening acts. Some of the concerts of the tour were actually special performances for some festivals like the "Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières", "Montréal au rythme des Amériques", "Canadian National Exhibition" and the "Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival".

At first, Dion performed 2 concerts in September 1993 in Quebec City, Canada, which were later used for the TV specials and a home video release. Another 2 concerts in Quebec were performed in November 1993, to mark the release of a new album.
However, the real tour started on February 11, 1994 in San Francisco, United States. After 10 concerts in the United States, Dion went on the Canadian sold out leg of the tour, which included 6 concerts in the Montreal Forum and a show before 10,000 people inHamilton among others.
Between April 26 and May 1, 1994 Dion sang in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan at the David Foster tribute concerts. They were recorded for a TV special: JT Super Producers 94. Dion sang "The Power Of Love," "Beauty and the Beast" (with Peabo Bryson) and "Love Lights the World" (with Bryson and Color Me Badd). The shows were staged and directed by Tony Greco. Three concerts between April 26–28 were performed in Nippon Budokan, and one on May 1 in Osaka-jō Hall.[3][4]
From June 8 to August 27, 1994, Céline Dion toured the United States with Michael Bolton on his "The One Thing Tour". They performed in twenty-thousand-seat-arenas, and in the "sheds" that open onto natural amphitheaters. It was their second, sold out tour.[5]
In September/October 1994, Dion performed few shows in Europe, including 3 concerts at the L'Olympia in France, at these shows, Celine sang an alternative version of "The Power Of Love". In November she gave another 3 shows in Canada, and in December 1994 she sang in Japan, this time with her own show.
Dion also toured Europe again in May 1995, including a sold-out concert at Hammersmith Apollo, London.

During a press conference following her win at the 25th Annual American Music Awards, Dion stated she would like to start touring during the summer of 1998. Following the award show appearance, the singer performed at the The Crown Showroom in Melbourneand the Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu with a set list similar to that in the Falling Into You Tour, but also including "The Reason" and "My Heart Will Go On." The tour was officially announced in February 1998. Originally called Celine Dion: On Tour 1998,[3] the tour was set to begin August in Boston, this would mark the third time Dion has begun a tour in the city.[4] She says it is the closest U.S. city to Montreal and considers it a "lucky charm".[4]
The tour was sponsored by Procter & Gamble (Canada), Avon (Europe)[5] and Ericsson (United States).[3] The telecommunications company initiated an aggressive campaign with Dion. Commercials were shown throughout the US and Canada showing concertgoers using their cell phones as lighters during Dion's performance.[3] Those who purchased an Ericsson phone were given a special behind-the-scenes tour video entitled "Celine Dion: In Her Own Words".[3] The tour was met early with controversy as the singer's performance at Madison Square Garden was subject to a ticket scam.[6] During the trek, Dion opened the Broward County Civic Arena. The concert was attended by nearly 20,000 spectators and was sold out with 2 two hours.[7]
Dion further remarked the setlist of the tour will contain songs from her current album, her hits and a few French selections. She continued:
"I'm going to definitely sing the new songs and a few French ones and definitely people's favorite. I can't do them all, unfortunately, because I have to do a two-hour show. It would take a long time to sing all my songs. I hope we have chosen the right ones for people to hear."[8]
During the course of the tour, Dion released a French-language album entitled, S'il suffisait d'aimer and a Christmas album called, These Are Special Times.[4] In November 1998, Dion had her first CBS special promoting the album. It featured Rosie O'Donnell performing "Do You Hear What I Hear?" with Dion. The show received two Emmy Awardnominations.[9] The singer ended the year with performing at the Billboard Music Award, Top of the Pops and an appearance on Touched by an Angel.
As the tour continued into 1999, Dion performed in Hong Kong, Japan and an additional outing for North America. During this time, Dion's husband René Angélil was diagnosed withskin cancer.[10] This forced the singer to postponed the remaining dates in the U.S. and the entire European leg. Dion resumed the tour in mid-June and thanked fans for their support during the rough period. After her tour of Europe, Dion's team announced the singer would give a special New Year's Eve concert in Montreal. Dubbed "The Millennium Concert" the show featured a new setlist and special appearances by prominent Canadian singers.[11] At the same time, David Foster began negotiations to have Dion, Barbra Streisand, Whitney Houston and Andrea Bocelli to conduct a mini-tour titled "Three Divas and a Tenor". The tour never came to fruition.[12]
In October, Dion opened the new Pepsi Center in Denver, replacing the McNichols Sports Arena. Dion dedicated the concert to the victims and survivors of the Columbine High School massacre. All proceeds from the show were donated to Colorado Organization of Victim Assistance. The singer was joined onstage by the Colorado Children's Chorale to perform "Let's Talk About Love" and "Friend of Mine Columbine"— a memorial song written by Stephen and Jonathan Cohen.[13] The singer stated it would be her last tour as she wanted to focus on becoming a mother.[11] Later, Dion released her first English greatest hits album, All the Way... A Decade of Song. The album was promoted by Dion's second CBS special, taking place at Radio City Music Hall. The special featured Dion performing her classics along with new songs on the album. The show featured duets with 'N Syncand Gloria Estefan. After her break, Dion began her first residency show at the The Colosseum at Caesars Palace from 2003 to 2007. The tour serves as Dion's final concert tour until 2008 for the Taking Chances Tour.

2003年至2007年 - A New Day ..
场数:723场。
观众:约293万名。
票房:3亿9千万。
A New Day... was a Las Vegas residency show performed by Céline Dion at the 4000-seat Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.[1] It was created and directed by Franco Dragone (known for his work with Cirque du Soleil) and premiered on March 25, 2003. 90-minute event, A New Day... introduced a new form of theatrical entertainment, a fusion of song, performance art, innovative stage craft and state-of-the-art technology. Dion was originally contracted for three years, however, due to its immediate success, the show continued for an additional two years. A New Day... ended on December 15, 2007, after a 5 year run of more than 700 shows and 3 million spectators. It reached one of the highest concert grosses in music history, grossing over $400,000,000 in its entire run.
"A New Day..." was a spectacle created for, with, and about Celine Dion. Dragone continued to assemble an all-star production team. The show featured the largest indoor LED screen in North America. Dragone uses the screen to evoke the mood within the music and create an environment that transcends the usual physical limitations of theatrical productions. With lighting, projected images, traditional props, and remarkably sharp three-dimensionnal screen graphics, the set for "A New Day..." placed Celine, the performers and, the audience in European town squares, city centers, picturesque antique temples and starry scapes. "Our goal with this project is to create a spectacle like no other, a fusion of song, theatre, dance and technical innovation," said Dragone. "I see Celine as a satellite who captures images." The spectacle lasted only one hour and thirty minutes: "It is the standard in Las Vegas, explains Celine, because the hotelkeepers who offer spectacles also want that people go to eat in the restaurant." Performances of "A New Day..." were usually presented 200 evenings a year, Wednesday through Sunday, at 8:30 p.m. Regular ticket prices were US$87.50, US$127.50, US$150.00 and US$200.00.
