I wanted to capture with music the feeling I had many times as a kid growing up, when summer was over, and autumn came. The good memories, the new exciting feelings of love, friendship and joy. A place we took for granted as kids, and often long for in our later years.

This song was inspired by all my swell memories of summer. care free hours, drinking root beer, staying up late watching movies or tv shows, going bike rides as the sun sets, throwing the frisbee, family vacations to the Outer Banks, rollerblading up to the local ice cream shop, sitting on the porch drinking coffee and of course writing music and taking photos. These things and many more are what I like to fill my summer days with. I take life slow and enjoy every minute. Thats one of my life goals, to be able to do what I love all the time, and live at a slow pace!
