X Factor's Sam Bailey announces debut album The Power of Love
The X Factor winner's first record The Power of Love will be released on March 24.
The album will feature a mix of cover songs and brand new tracks.
The announcement comes after Bailey gave a performance of Jennifer Rush's 'The Power of Love' at the National Television Awards last night (January 22),
The 36-year-old had earlier opened the awards ceremony alongside her musical hero Michael Bolton.
Speaking to Digital Spy at the event, Bolton hinted that he may record a duet with Bailey to appear on the album.
The US musician also praised Bailey's "heartfelt" approach to her music.
"The only thing more important than a great instrument is the ability to put your heart into that instrument," he said. "That's what resonates with people, that's what moves human beings and she has that combination."
Bailey has previously discussed her plans to do things "differently" when it comes to her debut album.
She said: "I want to do some songs that people haven't heard in a while, and bring back some stuff that people probably haven't even heard of, so that it feels like a new song.
"I'm going to try and do some stuff of my own and get some songs out there that are originals."
The singer scored the 2013 Christmas number one with her X Factor winner's single 'Skyscraper'.
