Cheryl Cole has won an undisclosed settlement from the producers of The X Factor USA.
Cole filed a lawsuit against production company Blue Orbit in December 2012 after she was famously dropped from the Fox competition just weeks after beginning her job.
Cole - who received positive reviews from critics for her short appearance on the judging panel - asked for $2.3m (£1.4m) in her original lawsuit.
The case has now been settled out of court with Cole receiving an undisclosed sum, BBC News reports.
Cole's original X Factor USA contract had a pay-or-play clause for two seasons, meaning that she would be compensated financially even if she was dropped from the show.
While she was paid for the first season, she asked to be compensated for the second as well as damages for wardrobe, housing and living expenses.
Cole's spokesperson did not comment on details of the settlement but confirmed: "Cheryl's dispute with Blue Orbit has been resolved amicably."
Cole famously fell out with X Factor mogul Simon Cowell after being fired from the show, but their relationship has since thawed and Cowell recently suggested that he would like to see her back on the UK version of the series.

雪梨原来跟美版签的是两年合约。。。合约中貌似规定如果中途退出，雪梨可以获得相关由服装，住宿，生活花费的经济赔偿。。。然后去年12月雪梨把simon给告了，要求赔偿230万美元，然后现在是胜诉了，但是具体赔偿金数额不详
雪梨貌似跟simon关系缓和了，然后simon最近说很希望雪梨能够重新回到英版的舞台上。。。。

最后结果就是X Factor UK-US从此退出历史舞台……
然后三爷到处找歌手筹备美版我是歌手，和其他电视台签约，节目获得巨大成功，力压同时段各种节目创造，创造了新的世界巅峰…………

不是也有消息称她绝对不会回来了么。她现在是要主攻北美市场，基本不会回英X了。
