Hey everyone, thought I'd give everyone a bit of a heads up about what we've got planned for the rest of the year and what we've been working on.
Level 35+ Content
Since Halloween ended, I've been concentrating on finishing up our content all the way to level 50. I'm hoping that we'll at least be able to release areas up to level 45 at least before the end of the year.
Along with the new suburbs there'll be new weapons, gear and location types. It's our most time consuming task and I'm trying to concentrate on it 100%.
Melee Reshuffle
As part of designing our weapons out to level 50, it dawned on me that we loaded way too many of our melee weapons into the lower levels. Between level 1 and 10, there's about 30 different melee weapons.
So here's what's happening. A bunch of these early game weapons are being "promoted". They'll have their minimum level increased and their damage adjusted to fit inside the new range. They'll have significantly higher DPS is most cases. Weapons that are below their new minimum level, won't be available to trade.
If a weapon is below it's minimum level, it can be upgraded for free to it's new minimum level.
We've also got a bunch of new melee weapons that will be inserted a long the way and will fill out the top end of the weapon class.
Store Overhaul
We're working getting the store re-designed so that it's easier to use and filter out what you want. The biggest change is that we'll be adding Clothing and Schematics to the store.
Clothing will have a preview panel so you can see what the items look like when worn by all your survivors. Schematics will be available to be purchased and then unlocked, just as they are now.
Z-Mas
We will be bringing Z-Mas back again this year. With more stuff than last year, still planning out.
