The so-called "Dark Dimension" has a greater number of spatial dimensions than man's universe. Because the gravitational force between two bodies there decreases rapidly with distance, the orbits of its celestial bodies are unstable. Stars cannot exists there, for pressure would not be balanced by gravity. Electrons either escape from the atom -- or else spiral into the nucleus -- rendering electrical forces inexistent. Thus, light itself becomes a variable phenomenon, subject to local conditions. Likewise, the fabric of space itself is more porous there, since gravity -- which is the glue of the universe -- is weaker. This leads to an abun-dance of warps -- actually, ("charged vacuum emboitements") leading in turn to a myriad of adjacent pocket universes.
