September 13, 2007 - Thursday Getting Closer (Producer/Engineer) The next step, at this point, is to make sure that I have just the right producer for my first album. A producer, as well as (sound) engineer, is vitally important when it comes to taking the music from "demo" form (what is on my website) to the realized version of each song that will appear on the album. At this point, I can get a song sounding good on my own, but I need them to sound amazing. This responsibility, I then defer to the producer and engineer. Though I will be there every step of the way, I will need trusted experts to get this where it needs to go. It's somewhat of a stressful time, as the decisions will impact the sound of this record (forever), however, it's a challenging process I am thrilled to undergo. I hate to disappoint, but I will most likely not be posting any new music material on my website, gonna have to wait for the album. I suppose that will make hearing the music in its realized form all the more sweet. Thanks for all your support, take care.-Eric
