我记得我看过不少Agatha Christine的小说了，但她是非常高产的作家，平均一年两部，所以我看过的算来也是凤毛麟角。她的作品算不上部部精华，但至少没有太差的。尤其是改编成电影电视的那些，基本都比现代的侦探剧作精良。她的侦探故事两大特点：不隐藏重要线索（光这点就比柯南道尔强了）情感心理细腻。前几天看过Five little pigs以后，心情一直不平静啊，好个复杂的感情故事，演员也演得都很好啊！忍不住又去下了N部，包括波罗与马普尔小姐，看得津津有味，特意开个帖子，有时间过来八八……

汗，eva啊，侦探小说不是不能八，问题是一八就会变成spoiler啊……天下再没有比侦探小说更怕spoiler的东西了呀……我看过Agatha Christie所有曾经翻译成中文的作品。的确，她的东西比较侧重情感心理，从那几部最出名的经典也能看出来，比如东方快车谋杀案，尼罗河惨案。马普尔小姐系列这方面尤为突出。另外我觉得她也是很有恶搞潜力的，比如那个在后期故事中经常出现的无厘头奥利弗夫人，汗啊汗……

我看过这一部啊，译名不是《五只小猪》而是《啤酒谋杀案》……不是怕自己看到spoiler，而是怕有兴趣的旁人看见。侦探小说这东西，要是一开始就知道“那就是凶手！”这书还怎么看……不过电影我是没看过……

那三部老的译制片也是不错的，最重要是翻译得好啊。five little pigs的字幕一塌糊涂，一半没翻译，另一半翻错。所以说译制片的黄金时代不再了啊，不过就股市而言，我喜欢《尼罗河上的惨案》以及《阳光下的罪恶》，东方快车我觉得太离奇了点。这里有一段five little pigs里面的精彩心理戏，演员演得非常好（跟案情无关，可以纯粹当作片断来欣赏）http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FigbEfZ1nc8&mode=related&search=据说这一段跟小说有出入，昨天我看到过相关的评论。

It's quite the other way round in real - Meredith was secretly in love with Elsa and Philip was very attracked to Caroline but he also hated her for the power she held over him. In the film they made Philip homosexual and he was in love with Amyas. A good change in the screenplay but indeed - it made this little scene with Elsa quite confusing

by kittykatkan (Wed Jan 18 2006 16:26:02) In the novel, Meredith had been in love with Caroline from the time they had been children (he and Philip and Caroline); but Caroline's devotion to Amyas eventually wore him down in adulthood, and he eventually fell in love with Elsa. Poirot, being the master of "le psychology", of course, spotted the fact that despite Meredith's declaration of love for Caroline, he had fallen in love with Elsa; thus Poirot simply asked Elsa flat out -- Meredith Blake asked you to marry him after the trial, did he not? -- and Elsa said yes. There's a little more elaboration in the novel, but then there's a little more time in a novel =)

by diogo-casquilho I didn't like that they made Philip a homossexual. Not to pass any sort of phobia here, but it does strike me as out of place, being that this is a period piece. questions of homossexual on tv are very much a trend of today's programs, it's just weirder when we see it being depicted on "Poirot", although quite litely it did feel out of place, and I wasn't sure, but it did ring me as something that I probably would not find in the book. as I read it so many years ago, I went back to check, and indeed, there it wasn't.

by shadowmanor_06 If you read between the lines in the novel it's hinted at I forget where exactly. At the time Mrs.Christie couldn't come out say "Philp Blake and Amamys(sp) Crayle had been in love since childhood." or something along those lines. The censors at the time would have had a field day with it.

咱只在小学看过Agatha的小说，后来胆子越来越小，就不敢看了。我连柯南都不敢看= =请捂嘴嘲笑。 小缈说的那个遇到强盗的故事我也听过，就是感觉那个强盗真傻，好不容易强次东西还把其中一个[貌似]不值钱的东西给扔回去……真是弱。
