However, if you put it on a straight grammer scale,both A and C are valid. For sharing purposes, I reallythink the setting of this specific question isn't too proper.One reason I like this bar is that people can have differentviews and opinions and yet not hurting the friendship...Yeah!!!

"be faced with" is definitely a fixed collocation,and when it is used as an adverbial,the"be" will be left out, and the "faced with"will remain the same.It is a rule,like it or not, you have to follow.What's more,I have met many such questions in my middle school and high school,hence I can guarantee the answer A is correct.By the way,why do you always stay up?I just can't imagine why you are still full of energy in midnight,course it was so late...hehe~maybe I should't mind other people's business~~One more thing,you can register a ID,so that I can contact you more conveniently(I want to make frends with you~),and it is also convenient for you to check your previous posts,hehe~~ it's just my advice,and my wish meanwhile,but do it or not is up to you.
