Talking about concerts:
July 12th, I'm finally going to see Muse...I can hardly believe it. Last week (saturday, to be precise), I bought some tickets with tears in my eyes (but only small ones :D). There's an unwritten list in my head, with all the bands I have to see only once, before I can die peacefully (well that's a bit harsh of an expression...well...I simply HAVE to see these bands :D).

I love buying CDs. This week, I received 3 new ones!!!
Two albums by Muse, and one by Coldplay (now you think these are all the bands I'm listening to :D...but that's not the fact at all. Just take a look at the picture of my CD collection...the upper and lower edges wouldn't fit on the picture :D). This is a mere coincedence...since

Finally...the Muse concert:
IT WAS AMAZING!!! I really couldn't believe my eyes and ears! My father and I (I asked him to come with me, since none of my friends had wanted to spend this amount of money - 75 Euros... - as well as the time) went there by car quite early, so that we managed to get some really great places near the stage.
There were so many fans in the audience, it was loud, it was great...I just cannot describe it with words. I sang along almost each song :D
Well, as a matter of fact, I have been loving this band since I am around 14 years old, so a dream came true to me!

(I was just watching this video again, and it really gives me the chills and makes my heart beat faster :D)
The first picture shows the stage from the place we were standing on. The whole area was like an arena with the seats increasing in height (in the end, nobody was sitting anymore, of course), so we were not that far away from stage AND were able to see EVERYTHING, which was necessary, since the show was worth the money:
In the beginning, a robot emitting steam was wandering along the upper edge of the arena (as you can see in the picture)...it was quite fitting, since this was their most electric song (from the current album "The 2nd Law").
During two other songs, you could see some fitting videos on the screens (telling a story to the song) in the rear of and next to the stage...well...that's not surprising at all, of course, but the fact that these videos were transmitted live from the arena, among the audience, was unbelievable. So there were actors performing to the songs! It was like "hey! there's the actor in the back!!!" and everyone else turned around not having noticed him so far.
The last picture shows a huge light bulb which was floating above the crowd to the song "Guiding Light". But that's not all: suddenly, a woman dancing on robes in the air was coming out of the bulb.
Actually I wanted to take a photo of the bulb floating above the guy next to me (so that it looks like he's having an idea :D), but this picture was too blurry and I did not want to distract myself too much from the concert.
Afterwards, we had to wait for about 2 hours to get out of the parking lot...it was horrible! ...and the whole world thinks Germans are disciplined and all that stuff...well...this was anarchy:
everybody was blocking each others' way! it was like thousands of people trying to get through one door at once. If everybody had acted as planned (using the regular paths for leaving the parking lot and one after another), this wouldn't have taken much more than an hour or something like that.
Well my dad and I were waiting for our chance and then arrived at home about 4 o'clock in the morning...
Unfortunately the video wouldn't fit into the e-mail, so I try sending it seperately...I hope your inbox can handel 15mb :D (I even had to reduce the resolution, since the amount of data was tenfold before...my dad didn't change the resolution settings on his camera)

...I haven't forgotten the video of course. I just had to adjust the bitrate again... :D
It's a part from the song with the moving robot (so it's sort of agressvie-sounding since it's a rather harsh electronic song...Muse as well has nice, calm songs, as you might know)
