Ryan Phillippe: Maui Film Festival Opening!
Jessica Chastain is gorgeous in green while attending the opening ceremony at the 2013 Maui Film Festival on Wednesday (June 12) in Wailea, Hawaii.
The Oscar-nominated actress is receiving the Nova Award at the festival.
“Few film artists are as talent and versatile as Jessica Chastain,” festival director Barry Rivers, who posed for photos with the honoree at the event, said in a statement. “She has made this clear in the range of characters she has brought to life in her chameleon-like silver screen performances. Jessica is a one-of-a-kind and we couldn’t be more pleased to honor her.”
Also pictured: Ryan Phillippe, whose film Isolated is playing at the festival. He was spotted on the beach with his girlfriend Paulina Slagter that afternoon.
