Mother Love Bone 的主唱Andrew Wood 不仅是Chris的好友，也是Alice in Chains吉他手Jerry　Cantrell 的好友，所以Jerry也写过一首歌纪念Andrew

Layne的故事一直比Kurt Cobain还要悲伤，虽然据郝舫还是哪儿的研究者说Kurt有一个悲剧式的家族，他的自杀甚至可以归因到家族遗传上去
但是Layne更悲伤的地方在于，他有一个名叫Demri的恋人
“layne的未婚妻在96年死时，两人已经分手了一段时间，之前，Demri出现在layne家门口，身无分文，无家可归，身上还装了个心脏起搏器，layne于心不忍，把她收留了，自己出去巡演，后来Demri死于心脏病后，layne一直自责于在收留她期间没有好好“照顾”她，因为layne没给她买嗑药时的专业的药棉，致使Demri死于从注射器进入血管的廉价棉花纤维阻塞了心血管。”

Layne给Demri写了这支歌，这首歌却不仅被献给了Demri，同样也悲剧性或者宿命式地献给了他自己

还有这支由Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam 和 Screaming Trees的几位成员组成的乐队Mad Season.这首歌除了乐队的固定成员出演之外还有Screaming Trees的Mark Lanegan献声

像Chris Cornell和Eddie Vedder这样级别的人一起献声的场合还是挺令人珍惜的
