What the F*ck! this is not what i wanted to see when i got on the internet! Does anybody know why he left? I can think of 2 possible reasons, no one just ups and leaves a successful band for no reason.
1. there could have been some infighting with the band members and stevo decided t quit which could possibly be the real reason they canceled the rest of the tour and just used derycks back as an excuse. and they decided just to tell us now.
2. he might just want to spend time with his son and cant be touring around the world all the time.
#2 is definitely the best case scenario and leaves room for him to possibly join back at a later time.

As for Deryck's and Stevo's friendship- I'm sure this event will have little to no effect on such. As far as I know there have been no hostile feelings towards one another within the band and there seems to be no reason for such. Stevo is leaving because he is a father

Guys, it is a suprise but ever since the release of SBM this band has been on a burnout. Relentless touring that just lead to Deryck hurting himself. I hate to say this, I really hate to say this, it makes me want to cry- but it's the truth- Sum 41 is dying. And it won't be long.
