‘Brilliant actor, and he is the greatest Bond ever - I’m not letting him go, not for a long time.’ Barbara told the Daily Mirror.

As the daughter of original Bond producer Albert R. ‘Cubby’ Broccoli, the 52-year old is certainly qualified to make this judgement.

But for Daniel's predecessor, losing the part was a tough to swallow.
