On behalf of the Drexel University Freshman Admissions Committee, I would like to extend you anoffer of admission through the University Preparation Program (UPREP). The University Preparation Program is a three-week summer orientationand preparation program where you will take English language courses and placement exams that will help you prepare for academic coursework andwill determine your path of study in the fall term. Please review the next page for additional information about the University Preparation Programand submit the enclosed Statement of Understanding with your tuition deposit.Please note that your offer of admission is specific to the term and major indicated in the box below. You must submit a final high school transcriptand a high school diploma/graduation certificate no later than July 15 and are required to notify Drexel of any legal or disciplinary actions takenagainst you prior to enrollment. Students will be further tested upon arrival at Drexel to determine placement in academic courses and may berequired to register for non-credit English courses that will entail additional expense and may extend the time normally required to complete thedegree. Drexel University reserves the right to withdraw your offer of admission in the event that (1) you show a significant drop in academicperformance or fail to graduate, (2) you misrepresent yourself in the application process, or (3) the University learns that you have engaged inbehavior prior to enrollment that indicates a serious lack of judgment or integrity.To reserve your place in the entering class, please submit the $300.00 non-refundable tuition deposit and the $200.00 non-refundable housingdeposit at http://discover.drexel.edu by May 1st. This payment will be applied to your tuition bill. In order to issue you an I-20, we must receivethe above-mentioned enrollment deposit and a completed I-20 Application Form.
