更重要的是Mac的行为为什么不是拒绝而是背叛

），并且Mac已经坦白了，就像Don向Maggie坦白Jenna们的事情，关键是最终他们都选择回来了。根据前面Jack的介绍，Will对于背叛的敏感度是非常高的。他不能释怀的不是Mac cheat on him这整个事件本身，由于童年的阴影，在这个问题上他的内心无法从理性的角度（Intellectually）全面地看待，而是纠结于cheat这一个行为，在他看来，Mac辜负了他的信任，"to hurt sb who trusts you, especially by not being loyal or faithful to them"，背叛了他。所以说，这里最让他受伤的不是被抛弃，而且被背叛，不是rejected而是betrayed。

问题：Mac的说辞算拒绝还是背叛cheat vi. (on sb) （对配偶或固定***）不忠 to not be faithful to your husband, wife or regular partner by having a secret sexual relationship with sb. else说辞是没有问题的，没有任何倾向，只是陈述事实而已。而rejected和betrayed都是有倾向的。所以这个问题应该是不成立的。至于Mac的行为，就像前面说的，重要的不是实际上怎样，而且Will心里怎么认为的。

呃，betray比reject的情况更为严重点吧。
reject是拒绝，表示两人还未在一起，一方不接受另一方的追求。
而betray则是两人已在一起，另一方背着一方出轨。
相对而言，betray较之reject带有侮辱，不尊重他人的意味。

not take in 与take in的区别。。唉
