Jacky XueA contestant in "Lycra My Show“ contest in 2005He is not very famous and not very handsome. Only a little people know him. He played a role in the film “Maybe Love” .Here are some pictures showing that he is really not very famous.

But I also like him very much. I like him because of his hard-working in order to realize his dream. His every step to his success is showed to me and sometimes it can encourage me. Now he is a new star in the entertainment field.

Jacky is from Shanghai. Because of his mother’s bad health, she was told not to have a child, otherwise, she would die. But the great mother gave up her life and gave birth to Jacky.So when he was 4 years old, mother left him forever.

His father was a photographer, in order to let Jacky have a better life, he gave up his favourite job to do many hard jobs to earn more money. His father thought that the child had lost his mother, as a father, he didn’t want his son to lose other things in his life.

So Jacky was brought up by his grandmother. When he was in the kindergarten, he always envy those children who were picked away by parents. Because he would never have this wonderful service.

After he graduate from high school, Jacky’s dad sent him to study in Switzerland. In that beautiful country, he had to live totally by himself. He had never been away from home before. Every little thing ,from washing his socks to getting over longliness, was a big task. Jacky said he left home as a boy but returned as a young man.

He feels very sorry and thankful to his mother. He wants to let everyone know his great mother’s name and her story. That is his dream. He also likes music very much. So he thought maybe he could realize his dream by music.

So after two years’ study in Switzerland, he came to Shanghai and took part in the “Lycra My Show” contest in 2004. But because of many reasons, he gave up at last.In the next year, he participate in the contest again. He became much more mature this time . In the preliminary contest,he sang the song written by himself called Yellow Maple Leaf.

This song told a story that a man left his wife to the battlefield. Before he left his wife, he promised his wife that he would come back next year when the maple leaves tuned yellow. But he was died in the battlefield and never returned. His wife was waiting for him under the maple tree all the time.

He had a very good achievement in the contest. It surprised many people that he was eliminated when in the 12 enter 10 contest.Through his effort, he was relived in the revivatory contest. In the contest, he also sang his own song called “The Prince Returns”

The song also told a story. A prince left his lover to realize his dream. After many years, the prince realized his dream through his effort and came back with happiness. But his lover couldn’t show the happiness with him. The prince shouted to his lover, but she replied nothing forever. She was passed away.

He has neurasthenic . So every night, he can’t fall asleep only after taking some pills. He also had a very bad health like his mother. When in the final contest, he got serious illness, but he also persisted in performing in the final contest. Because he hadn’t let other people know his great mother’s story.

Then ,he read a letter to everybody who supported to him and his mother.

When the final achievement showed, he was not the champion. But he said that he was not sad because he believed that he could do better through his effort. On the June 12th 2006,his self-titled album “Jacky” was emitted. In the album, most of songs were created by himself and the main song called “The earnest snow” was told his real own romantic story.

Because of many reasons, his girl friend left him. He was vary sad and locked himself in his room for one day and one night. The next day when he looked out through window, Shanghai, as a city which hadn’t snowed for more than 10 years, was snowing heavily.
