The Birmingham National Sea Life Centre is the UK's first and largest inland sea life centre, featuring over 3,000 sea creatures. It is part a network of marine life aquariums stretching across much of Europe.You can walk through the world's first 360-degree transparent underwater tunnel while all kinds of creatures swim above you, around you and even beneath you.Britain's first aquarium mirror maze - designed by the world's greatest maze builder Adrian Fisher - opens at the National Sea Life centre, Birmingham. The National Sea Life centre is turning totally Tropical! It's turning up the heat in the heart of the City. With 30 new displays, visitors will be able to see creatures from the Red Sea, the pacific coast of North America, the Caribbean and other balmy exotic locations in a spectacular transformation. A dizzying labyrinth with strategically positioned tropical fish displays guards the entrance to the Lost City of Atlantis… Its fabulous treasures guarded by a giant octopus. Come and marvel at black reef tip sharks, cownose rays and fearsome barracuda under the leafy palm trees and warm coralised seas. Following the successful transformation of the one million litre ocean tank with resident Green Sea Turtles Gulliver and Molokai, this amazing new feature will allow visitors to see and learn more about fish they have never dreamt of before.
