Staten Island’s PS22 Chorus donned skull caps and summoned their angelic voices in Washington D.C. this afternoon (Jan. 21), performing their version of Season 11 ‘American Idol‘ winner
Phillip Phillips‘ smash hit ‘Home.’
They did so for an extra special occasion — the second inauguration of President Barack Obama. The song has been given extra legs since it fits patriotic situations like the Olympics and the swearing in of the president for a second term.
The kids in the PS22 choir did Obama,
Phillips and ‘Idol’ proud with their heavenly and cherubic voices. We also love how smart they are, branding their black skullies with their affiliation! Nice work, kids. Now everyone knows who you are!
